I have come across a program that lets you rip music from internet radio stations. I use iTunes Radio all the time to listen to the latest hits from radio stations all across the world. Streaming internet radio it is similar to satellite Radio, like XM and Sirius, with no commercials. It does have short advertisements for the radio station before or after songs such as: “You are listening to… Please visit us online at….”

To record the radio to your computer you will need a program similar to StationRipper. As stated on StationRipper’s website:

StationRipper will allow you to record internet radio stations. It will get you a list of available Shoutcast stations and start recording them, creating a single MP3 file for each song the station plays.

It can rip up to 300 Stations, limit the times it records, and allow you to have better control over what goes in your music library.

So far I am very satisfied with the program. I like the idea of listening to all of the latest songs, which you can easily transfer to an MP3 Player. The quality of songs is as good as the station your ripping, so make sure you are ripping from a quality station.
